This is my first real hardship. I knew that I would have to give up things in the Peace Corps, but this one hurts: I just discovered that the Steelers have a game today- it's football season. I don't know if I'll make it two years without football.
Other sad sacrifices: Vogue. The Office (which I hear also just started up again,) 30 Rock, etc. Knowing what's going on in the world. Heels. Boots. Skirts and dresses that show my knees. NPR. Kojo Nnamdi.

The Steelers lost. In case you couldn't already guess that. For the rest of that stuff there's the internet. Or does Hulu.com not work in Africa? It might not. But I bet NPR has almost everything on iTunes. Wait, now I don't know if iTunes works in Africa. Ok, nevermind. I'm not helpful at all.
